You tell me I am perfect in every way
You say that to me everyday.

How can I be perfect if I am not always happy?
Some times, I don’t want to be me.

I am not perfect
I am just me.

You say I am the perfect lady for you
And yet I only make you smile and be happy.

I am not perfect
I have many imperfections.

How can I be prefect when I cry almost every night?
It really seems that I will not find my one true light.

You tell me that I am perfect
But I refuse and don’t agree with you.

I am not perfect
Maybe only in your eyes,
I will not agree
I will just say thank you.

I don’t try
I don’t want to.

I am not perfect
But you tell me again
I just simply smile.
